Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) Facility

Providing services

• AFC automatically collect railway fares through automated ticket sales, recharge, calculation, and counting and collection of tickets to collect railway and subway fares. It also collects and manages accounting and statistical data generated from different terminal units to distribute and calculate transportation fares efficiency based on monthly and yearly data to ultimately improve convenience of railway users.

• MIS is divided into railway services (sales, facility maintenance, train operation, vehicle inspection, safety and environment management, and machine/facility information) and general services (strategic management, HR, finances, and purchase). MIS offers a future-oriented system optimized to urban railways by building an integrated architecture that responds to changes in the internal and external environment in advance and an user-oriented system, and strengthening the connection between data.

• The information and communication system is a service that operations the railway communication network, offering not only the transmission facility, an essential control facility, but also video communication facility that ensures safety of passengers in emergencies, broadcasting facility for enhanced convenience and the route guide facility.
